CLAgency - Account Executives and Managing Editors


CLAGENCY is hiring account executives and managing editors. These positions are paid and offer a flexible schedule. Undergraduate Human Rights Awards


THE HUMAN RIGHTS PROGRAM has extended their deadline for the Undergraduate Human Rights Award to Tuesday, April 10. Each spring the Human Rights Program and the Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies present the Inna Meiman Human Rights Award and Sullivan Ballou Award. Each recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship. For more information on nominations, see below. 


Undergraduate Human Rights Awards
Each spring the Human Rights Program and the Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies recognize the tremendous work U of M - Twin Cities undergraduate students in human rights by presenting the Inna Meiman Human Rights Award and the Sullivan Ballou Award. Each recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to nominate a full-time undergraduate student who has been truly impressive in their human rights work. Self-nominations are also accepted.

Nomination Instructions
Eligibility: All full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the spring 2018 semester at the U of M - Twin Cities are eligible for nomination
Faculty/staff/peer: Submit a letter of nomination (750 words or less), a personal statement from the nominated student (750 words or less), and a copy of the nominated student's rĂ©sumĂ©.
Self-nomination: Submit a personal statement (750 words or less), a letter of recommendation from faculty, staff, or student who can attest to the nominee's achievements, and a rĂ©sumĂ©.

Deadline: EXTENDED TO TUESDAY, APRIL 10th - Nominate someone (or yourself!) today!

Nomination materials should be submitted via email to Rochelle Hammer (hamm0229@umn.edu) with the subject line "2018 Human Rights Awards." 

The Human Rights Awards will be presented at a luncheon ceremony on Friday, April 20, 2018.

UMASS BOSTON MA program in American Studies


THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS BOSTON invites juniors and seniors to consider applying to the MA program in American Studies. This graduate program examines American culture and history through a broad range of texts – through media, visual culture, popular music, anthropology, and food studies, as well as through the lens of race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nationality, and class.
