MST5012 Museum Practices will be offered for the Spring 2017 semester. This class is a practical course that covers
all aspects of museum work including curatorial duties, education, collections
management, security, development, public relations, and installation and
gallery design. This course is taught by Weisman Art Museum staff with
supplemental guest lecturers from science, natural history, and art museums throughout the Twin
Cities. This course, it will
be held on Wednesdays from 2:30PM- 5:15PM in the Weisman Art Museum.
