Requiredqualifications include a completed PhD in Women's Studies or a related field,and an ongoing program of research on issues of gender and sexuality.Candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and in scholarlyresearch, and to have publications appropriate to their stage of career. Thesuccessful candidate will be expected to teach interdisciplinary courses inher/his own area of expertise as well as to contribute to the program byteaching in some of our core courses (for example, the introductory course orcourses in Women's Studies and/or Sexuality Studies, and courses in eachprogram on theories and methodologies). The successful candidate must be suitable for prompt appointment to theFaculty of Graduate Studies.
Salary will becommensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positionsare subject to budgetary approval.
