IMMIGRATION HISTORY RESEARCH CENTER is pleased to announce their
event titled “Immigrant Borderlands and Cities in Minnesota and the U.S”. This
event will feature a keynote talk by Professor Albert Camarillo (History,
Stanford University), where he will discuss research he has conducted for an
upcoming book about the evolution of ethnic and racial diversity of American
cities since the mid-19th century. He will specifically discuss the impact of
Latino immigration to Minnesota with this national context. This event will take place in Elmer L
Anderson Library 120 on Thursday, October 27th at 6:00PM.
