CHIC 5920 Seminar in Comparative Ethic Studies: Power, Subjectivity,
Resistance will be offered for the Spring 2017 semester. The course asks a
simple question: What creates and what impedes solidarity among struggles for
justice among differently racialized communities? To answer the question, the
course will convene to critically evaluate the ways Ethnic Studies scholarship
has analyzed white supremacy by examining a multiplicity of racialized
communities in relationship to one another. Professor Jimmy PatiƱo will teach
this course, it will be held on Tuesdays 4:00PM- 6:30PM in Nicholson Hall 335. Click on the flyer for more info.
