Join Twin Cities community advocates, youth, and University of Minnesota faculty for art, lunch, and discussions focused on building strategies to improve education for women and girls of color.
- Share knowledge about challenges and opportunities facing girls and women of color in education
- Create and exchange ideas to improve educational experiences and outcomes for girls and women of color
- View art and public service announcements created by girls and young women ~ cast your vote for the audience favorite!
- Make art inspired by your favorite she-roes!

By attending this event, you may be eligible to apply for up to $10,000 in grant funding for Community-University collaborative projects. We invite you to network among participants who share your commitment to support women and girls of color’s educational opportunities and innovative thinking to solve pressing problems.
Youth from 6th grade through age 20 are invited to participate in an arts and video PSA contest. Please encourage the young artists, writers, visual storytellers, and performers in your life to to submit an entry and register for the event on October 28.
