THE GRADUATE STUDENT PEER MENTOR PROGRAM

The Graduate Student Peer Mentor Program is pleased to announce applications are open for their mentorship program. This program pairs GLBTQ graduate students in a mentorship relationship, to share information about navigating the University of Minnesota and the Twin Cities broadly as a GLTBQ graduate student. This program pairs first and second year graduate student mentees with more advanced graduate student mentors for a full academic year. Over the course of the mentorship relationship, mentors act as a resource, a referral service and colleague to their mentee, helping them to adjust to life as a GLBTQ graduate student and offering guidance and support.

If you are interested in participating in this program either as a mentor or mentee, check out: https://diversity.umn.edu/gsc/mentor.

To apply to be a mentee: z.umn.edu/gradmentee
Or a mentor: z.umn.edu/gradmentor

The Graduate Peer Mentor Program is sponsored by the Steven J. Schochet Endowment for GLBT Studies and the Gender & Sexuality Center for Queer & Trans Life.
