Capitol Pathways Program - Capitol Internship Program


THE CAPITOL PATHWAYS PROGRAM is pleased to announce applications for their Capitol Internship Program for Indigenous Students and Students of Color are now open. This internship offers $12/hour pay and runs from January – May 2018. This internship will help build relationships with established capitol leaders, gain exposure to various kinds of careers in policy, and gain real-world experience. The program provides supplementary legislative, leadership and professional development training along with an immersive internship experience. Applications are due Friday, December 1 at 11:59. Constructing American: Identities, Infrastructure and Institutions Conference UMICH CFP


THE AMERICAN HISTORY WORKSHOP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN is pleased announce its call for papers for its conference, “Constructing America: Identities, Infrastructure and Institutions” on May 4 – 5, 2018 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. There are particularly interested in papers that approach the idea of construction in innovative, counter-intuitive, or interdisciplinary ways, or which destabilize established national narratives. Scholars working in all periods of American history are welcome.
