Arizona State University - Lecturer in Sociology


ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY is hiring four lecturers in Sociology for 9-month academic appointments with annual renewal possible contingent upon satisfactory performance. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Sociology, Anthropology, or closely-related interdisciplinary field by the time of appointment and a record of successful in-person teaching with in higher education. Schochet Interdisciplinary Fellowship


THE STEVEN J. SCHOCHET ENDOWMENT is now accepting applications for the Schochet Interdisciplinary Fellowship in Queer, Trans, and Sexuality Studies. The application is open to all University of Minnesota doctoral candidates who have reached candidacy by the end of Spring 2018. This fellowship includes a $22,000 award distributed through the Financial Aid Office. Applications are due by Thursday, March 15. For more information, click here.

Interdisciplinary Collaborative Workshops


THE COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS invites proposals for Interdisciplinary Collaborative Workshops (ICW). These workshops bring together faculty, staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students from a variety of fields to study a topic or question. ICWs are meant to convene scholars and others from within the college and beyond, and as such, proposed forms of workshops may include (but are not limited to) reading groups, seminars, symposia, conferences, or virtual centers. Applications for mini grants for a one-year project of up to $10,000 are due March 15, 2018.
