THE GRADUATE SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP
OFFICE is pleased to announce the Torske Klubben Fellowship for Minnesota
residents enrolled in the University of Minnesota Graduate School with
preference given to students pursuing a Ph.D. The Fellowship provides a
stipend of $16,000 for the academic year. The Fellowship is supported by the
Torske Klubben of Minneapolis, whose members, being of Norwegian ancestry, are
interested in fostering relationships between Norway and America. Applicants need not be of Norwegian heritage
themselves, but they should explain their interest in or connection to Norway
and its culture, expressing more than a superficial appreciation for Norwegian
traditions. The deadline for applications is 12:00 PM on Monday, February 19,
