FOR QUEER & TRANS LIFE is hosting Ikal Avila for her talk “Body Positive: My
Personal Journey to Finding Self-Love and Acceptance as a Trans Woman of Color”
as part of their QueerX Series on Friday, March 23 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM in
Appleby Hall Room 103. Ikal Avila will discuss her journey as a young trans woman
of color navigating systems of oppression and how she came to love her body and
live authentically.
