AMERICAN STUDIES will be hosting three events
with Mari Yoshihara, Prof. of American Studies at University of Hawai'i at
Manoa and Editor of American Quarterly, next week. On Wednesday
April 19, 2017 she will be doing a writing workshop with the Critical Race
and Ethnic Studies Writing Group from 11:00am - 1:00pm in Scott Hall
105. She will also be giving a talk titled "Dearest Lenny: Leonard
Bernstein and U.S.-Japan Relations During the Cold War"
at 4:00pm in Walter Library 402. Lastly she will be leading a
workshop on academic publishing for graduate students and junior faculty
from 10:00am - 12:00pm in Scott Hall 105.
