Promotion and Tenure information session

A promotion and tenure information session has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., in room 202 Johnston Hall. This meeting is intended for tenure-track probationary faculty and tenured faculty at the rank of associate professor considering promotion to the rank of professor, as well as faculty mentors who may support candidates through the promotion and tenure process. 

There are many changes to the CLA Guidelines for Promotion and Tenure Dossiers due to new provostal requirements in recent years. Agenda items will include a review of the policies and procedures which govern and inform the promotion and tenure process, an overview of the promotion and tenure process and time-line in the College of Liberal Arts, and an open discussion concerning the various elements of promotion and tenure dossiers.
