The History Department at Boise State University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professorship in US History (with both gender and public history emphases) to start August 2010. Responsibilities include teaching introductory surveys, upper division courses in the candidate's fields, and working with graduate students in our Master of Arts and Master of Applied Historical Research programs. Preference will be given to those who can teach interdisciplinary courses. Candidates should have a Ph.D. by the beginning of the appointment, evidence of scholarly potential and a strong commitment to teaching.
