THE IMMIGRATION HISTORY RESEARCH CENTER presents their event entitled, “What is the Impact of the New Immigration
Politics for the U of M?” The speakers for this event will include lawyers and
University of Minnesota staff who will advise students, faculty, and staff
about immigration and travel related issues. This event will also include
information about the executive orders’ impact on the University of Minnesota
community and will strategize how to protect the University community members and
local immigrant and refugee populations. The event will take place on Thursday,
February 2, 2017 from 12:00- 1:00PM in the University Recreation and Wellness
Center’s Beacon Room.
