THE AMERICAN STUDIES DEPARTMENT is hosting Dr. Sara A. Ramírez for her presentation on her book project “Lo/Cura: Negotiating Subjects of Trauma and Chicanx Cultural Productions” on Wednesday, April 25 from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM in Walter Library Room 401/402. Ramírez uses a decolonial feminist methodology to interpret 21^st century Chicanx representations of trauma in poetry, performance, film, theater, a novel, and visual art.
