THE PROGRAM IN THE HISTORY OF MEDICINE
is hosting “Responding to Immigrant and Refugee Health: A Minnesota Story” on
Friday, February 9, 2018 from 12:15 – 1:15 PM in Moos Tower 2-690. In this
talk, historian and physician Neal Holtan will describe the history of
immigrant and refugee health in the U.S. and Minnesota, and William Stauffer
will describe his accidental career with the CDC offering personal insights
into health considerations and preventative interventions for U.S. Bound
refugees.
