THE MINNESOTA HISTORICAL SOCIETY AND
AMERICAN SWEDISH INSTITUTE are hosting “Minnesota History Whatever 2: A Gathering of Historians” on Friday, March 23. This conference will emphasize
conversation and interaction on topics including: history as emotional work,
fake news and fake facts, museums/classrooms as neutral spaces, working with
conflicting stories, combating race/gender fatigue, how to write local history,
