UNIVERSITY is pleased to announce its call for submissions for its 9th
Annual Latiino/a and Latin American Research Conference: “Nuestros Cuentos:
Latina/o/x Narratives Amid DACA” on Saturday, April 21. This year’s theme
invites participants to explore the historical and contemporary roles of
narratives in Latina/o/x identities and to consider the ways in which
reclaiming Latina/o/x narratives through self-expression and
self-representation politically resists victimizing and discriminatory narratives
of Latina/o/x experiences, including but not limited to immigrant experiences
and undocumented experiences. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 4. For
