THE MASSACHUSETTS HISTORICAL SOCIETY is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for their 2019-2020 fellowships. The Society will offer at least two MHS-NEH Long-Term Fellowships with a stipend of $4,200 per month with an additional stipend of over five hundred dollars a month for housing and professional expenses. These fellowships will be from four to twelve months and are available to applicants who have completed a terminal degree in their field by the application deadline of Tuesday, January 15, 2019. The Society also offers MHS Short-Term Fellowships (due Friday, March 1, 2019), Suzanne and Caleb Loring Fellowship on the Civil War, its Origins, and Consequences (due Friday, February 15, 2019), and New England Regional Fellowship Consortium (due Friday, February 1, 2019).
