THE GRADUATE SCHOOL - NATIONAL CENTER of FACULTY DEVELOPMENT MEMBERSHIP

THE GRADUATE SCHOOL encourages all graduate students to take join and take advantage of the University of Minnesota’s institutional membership with the National Center of Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD).

NCFDD delivers a variety of virtual career development and mentoring resources for graduate students. Because the University of Minnesota is now an institutional member, they can access these resources at no cost (the normal cost for an individual membership would be $240/year per graduate student).
Below are instructions for activating membership with NCFDD:
  1. Visit www.FacultyDiversity.org/UMN
  2. Fill in registration information at the bottom of the page
  3. Complete the registration process
  4. Users will receive a welcome email within 24 business hours confirming that the account is active
We know that graduate students are looking for more career development resources, and believe that the University of Minnesota's institutional membership in NCFDD will be useful for many of them as they explore options and make decisions about their futures.

For more information about our institutional membership with NCFDD contact Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs Rebecca Ropers-Huilman at ncfdd@umn.edu or visit the University of Minnesota's NCFDD webpage
