tenure-track Assistant Professor position in African American and African Diaspora Studies. Candidates who possess expertise in
intersectional or interdisciplinary historical, cultural, or media studies
approaches to one or more of the following areas: black feminist theory, queer
studies, performance studies, the African diaspora, or Blacks in the US West
will be preferred. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Africana
Studies, African American Studies or in a related social science or humanities
